As the government’s fiscal year 2025 is officially underway, both the VA and DSS have much on the horizon – from key priorities when it comes to overall IT modernization to digital transformation efforts.
In looking back to FY2024, DSS expanded its portfolio of solutions at the VA, and the momentum continues this year for enhancing overall care coordination, as well as the productivity of VA health care providers and administrators.
DSS is also continually focused on streamlining workflows, processes, and introducing new systems of engagement – with a key focus on enhancing access to care for Veterans. DSS has also been able to streamline suicide prevention efforts, as well as advance care in the community.
For FY2025, key focus areas for both the VA and DSS is squarely on enhancing Veteran care. This involves modernizing current-state systems in the VistA ecosystem – moving from on-prem into cloud environments. DSS will also help the VA to better leverage existing systems, embrace no code/low code solutions, and new applications for enhancing care access.
